This Web site, connectamillionminds.com, is an internet resource designed to link youth to afterschool opportunities in their local communities. The web site is part of the Connect a Million Minds (CAMM) initiative in partnership with Coalition for Science After School (CSAS) and For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology (FIRST®). Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using this site. By using this site, you signify your agreement with these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any of the below Terms of Use, do not use this site. Time Warner Cable reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, alter or otherwise update these Terms of Use at any time. Such modifications shall be effective immediately upon posting of the modified Terms of Use. By using this service after we have posted notice of such modifications, alterations or updates, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. Time Warner Cable retains the right to deny access to anyone at its complete discretion for any reason including for violation of any of these Terms of Use. Registering on Connectamillionminds.com
By taking 'The Pledge' on connectamillionminds.com, you will create an account and make a non-binding commitment to connect a young person(s) to science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) opportunities promoted by Connect a Million Minds via a database powered by the Coalition for Science After School. You must be at least thirteen years old to create an account and will be required to provide your first and last name, e-mail address, date of birth and zip code. Once registered, you will be given a password that will permit you to log into the site and upload content tied to your CAMM experience, e.g. volunteering for an afterschool opportunity.
Once you have accepted these Terms of Use, you may upload content to the Pledge Fulfillment Wall, a section of the site where users post photos and commentary about how they fulfilled their CAMM pledge. Users that submit content to The Fulfillment Wall will be identified with their first name, last name initial, photo of the opportunity in which they participated and a brief description of their experience.
Additionally, users will be prompted to opt-in to communication from Connect a Million Minds (newsletters, event notifications, e-mail reminders to post on the fulfillment wall etc.) Please note that certain account details such as first name, last initial and city, state as they relate to the zip code you specified when signing up to Pledge, as well as any content you upload to the site, e.g. photos and comments, may be displayed on third party sites and social networks.

Those who choose to access this site from other locations do so on their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with their local laws, if and to the extent local laws may be applicable. This agreement shall be governed by, construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, as it is applied to agreements entered into and to be performed entirely within such State. Any action you, any third party or Time Warner Cable bring to enforce this agreement or, in connection with, any matters related to this site shall be brought only in either the state or Federal Courts located in New York County, New York, and you expressly consent to the jurisdiction of said courts.
